What we do
Each study is built from the ground up for one concept in one market. You receive two documents. The Study is the financial model: capital budget, sales built from the menu and the dayparts, the cost engine, a line-by-line profit and loss, five years of projections, payback and break-even. The Thesis is the reasoning behind every figure. The spreadsheet proves what; The Thesis proves why.
Every study ends in a direct recommendation: Go, or Go with Conditions, with the exact steps to move forward. We do not decorate the truth. If the numbers do not work, you hear it from us on paper, not from the market with your money.

Praxis Model was founded by Ralph Homer, who has spent 33 years in hospitality and worked on more than 300 restaurant projects across the Gulf. The judgment inside every Praxis study is his: which assumptions survive contact with a real dining room, which costs founders forget, and which leases quietly decide a restaurant's fate before it opens.
Ralph writes the Praxis Answers, plain answers to the questions Gulf restaurant investors actually ask, from what it costs to open in Dubai or Riyadh to how investors really get paid. He is also the author of Make Every Mistake on Paper, the Praxis field guide.
